My name is Jemwel A. Briones. I'm 25 years old and I am currently living at Imus City Cavite Philippines with my wife and 2 kids. My eldest child is a 6 years old girl and my youngest is a 2 years old boy. Suprised that at the age of 25 i already have a wife and 2 kids? Yeah, I've been married at the age of 19, when i was a 4th Year College Student and i discovered that life wasn't that easy at all. I graduated a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology back in the year 2007, inspite of all the hardships being a college student and at the same time a soon to be Father/Husband. After graduation I rush my way in finding a job that would support my family needs unlike my classmates that after graduation wasn't pressured at all.
My journey for job application started and everything was set by then. I already have my resume with a cover letter attached, corporate attire was ironed-flat to look presentable and professional to catch the attention of potential employers. I applied for job position wherein my skills would be best suited. Most of the jobs I applied for are in the IT-Industry since my mind setting is that "I am a graduate of Information Technology therefore I should have a job appropriate for an IT Graduate". I undergone repetitive preparation and examination from different Companies around the Business District of Makati, Ortigas and Alabang. But unfortunately, i've got none of those application.
I thought i was unfortunate but i wasn't unfortunate at all. I landed a job that could be consider as a "Noble Profession" among all professions, which is teaching. I started teaching basic computer subjects like Computer Concepts, Office Applications (MS Office), Basic Programming(C,C++,VB6) and as the time pass by i am capable of teaching other subjects like DBMS (MS Access/MYSQL), Management Information Systems, System Analysis and Design, Web Programming (HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP). I know that when it comes to software side of computer, I am competitive but suddenly a question come up in my mind "How about the Hardware side of it ?".
One day my mother told me that she wants to have a business. I don't know if that's a coincidence or it was a sign for me to take focus on computer hardware. My mother came up on setting up a Computer Shop that offers services like gaming, printing and chat. She assigned me to be in charge of Setting Up the technical aspect of the business. In order for me to understand every single details of that business, I enroll for a Short Course "Computer Hardware Servicing". Most of the Topics discussed includes Computer Hardware Assembly/Disassembly, Familiarization and Trouble Shooting of computer parts and peripherals, Familiarization of Computer Networks and UTP Cabling.
Currently I'm an IT Instructor in a school somewhere here in Cavite. Sooner or later semester is about to end and that means im vacant. Not Good for me and for my family.
I was hoping to have a job before semester end. I browse the internet and one thing catch my attention, It's about working online, in the comfort of your home doing jobs that might be given by clients. I hope i would find one... =)
